A model call turns out twin-tastic!

Seriously so excited!  I finally bought a 2nd Canon 6d body for this wedding season (it has been a fantastic camera for the past year). With it, I also picked up a 24-105 and a 100mm for macro.  So, since I wanted to play, I did a model call for newborns. I always want more practice with babies!  And I just got a new pink wrap, so I asked for girls. The results were amazing.  But, the first person that actually got back to me was Catherine and she had just had twin girls!!! They were only 11 days old and as teeny as dolls.  Check out their announcements down at the bottom for size comparisons.  I can't take credit for the idea. One of my favorite photographers (Velvet Owl) did. I just scheduled a November photo shoot with her for our family!  EEK!  It's been on my bucket list!!!

So, enjoy the girls!  And, there's a photo of my son in there with Lacie just to show how teeny they were compared to a 6 month old :)

OUR Family Tulip Photos

I never shared some family photos in the tulips that my husband and I took the night after my vintage Orchard shoot a couple weeks ago!

I am going to order the one of baby James in a 12x18 canvas for our family collage in the hallway, I think.  Or might put it on the living room wall.  The colors TOTALLY go in our house!

Safety first!  He was wobbly this night and by the next week, he was a sitting champ!

LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!!!!!

A former student gets engaged!!!!

When Kate contacted me to buy a photoshoot for her mom for a late Christmas/early Mother's Day gift, I knew I couldn't be more thrilled.  Then, that next week, she got engaged!!  I was beyond excited!!!  Then, my favorite trees decided to bloom down at our local community college, and I just about died and went to heaven.  It was the trifecta of perfection.  We decided on a morning at 10am since everyone was working crazy shifts.  The weather seemed a bit off (rain was coming), but we stuck with it.  We got about 30 minutes even before the downpours began, but that was just enough time to capture a couple of great moments and have a few laughs together.  Thanks again for choosing me, Kate!

Patitz-Thoeny family - Vintage Orchard

I am SO excited to bring you the 1st of my 4-seasons family!!!  Would you like to be a 4-seasons family?  Only $425 for 4 mini-sessions (5 digital images included from each session).  Just contact me today:  ktobinvideo@hotmail.com

This family was picture perfect.  From the tea dyed linen dresses to the yellow dandelion field and the bike by the shed, Jill's grandma's Victorian house was an amazing location for our last-minute shoot.

Check out how adorable their 8-month-old daughter, Paloma, is as well.
